Trinidad should shut his ****ing stuborn mouth up and stay retired. Tito must have money issues if he wants to keep fighting. His legacy is been affected with these ******ass fights.

Now we're talking about a guy who has fought 4 times in almost 8 years and lost two of them. Say he get the fight with Pavlik and gets destroyed.....every boxing fan who bought it will be pissed and saying the same thing I am saying now. Its no good for boxing all the way around. If he wants to fight he should work his way back up.
I can give 2 ****s about how much they both get paid. Its an interesting matchup, that im sure many people would'nt mind tuning in to see. By the way, what did RJJ do to deserve a shot at the #2 pfp fighter in the world, Joe Calzaghe? Talk about a sideshow. **** like this happens all the time.

        Tito's done man...

Even most Puerto Ricans at this point have put their focus on Cotto now, regardless if they like Tito as a person better.

He also hasn't fought since Jan of last year against Roy. If he would've kept in shape throughout his career's up and downs, he might still be an active fighter...he's not really old at all.

So you think its ok for a retired fighter to get a shot and a payday over a more deserving fighter who has actually worked his way into contention?

And Jones didn't do **** to deserve a shot at Calzaghe except to still be ranked in the top 10 at 175. While it was a bogus match up, that is far more acceptable than 4 fights in 8 years and losing half of them.

Well like i said. If he dedicates himself by training hard, and is serious about this fight, then im all for it. If he's all about showing up for a paycheck, then i'd rather him stay retired. I do give him props for not looking for a low risk/high reward opponent though.

You gotta think about Pavlik's situation too though. Him fighting and beating Tito now really means nothing. Yes, Tito's a name in the sport (technically), but he's no where near the level he once was. Matter of fact the last good outing by Tito was against Mayorga which was YEARS ago. Pavlik should focus on fighting some of the other champs in the division and be recognized as the sole Middleweight champ.

I've always been a Tito supporter, but his time has come and gone.

can you imagine how much of a road block pavlik would face if tito were to stop him?

**** makes me sad just thinking about it
