There are alot of haters out there that are more afraid of Tito winning a fight against Pavlick and being relevant again. The same people are trying to convince everyone that Tito is garbage, yet they don't want him to face Pavlick because....?
A pay day? Please, Tito has 20 paydays hihger than anything Pavlick has seen yet. Pavlick has more to gain than Tito when it comes to money. Tito has been on PPV since he fought Vargas. Every fight he has fought has been on pay per view since then. Thats like 12 fights people. The so relevant Pavlick has 2 or 3 and his fight against Bernard couldn't even make pay per view. Stop with all the pay day stuff, Tito lives on PPV, if you didn't know now you do.
To win? Of course he's coming to win, and the only fight that is arguably better than this is Abraham vs Pavlick. All the other 160lb guys are garbage.
Lets settle it. To the haters and the Lovers, the only way to really settle Titos relevancy is to let him and Pavlick fight. Pav got dominated worse by a 44 year old Bernard, Than Tito did by a 39 year old Roy, (Both are way past there primes, Yes Roy has fallen harder, but Roy was so much better than Bernard was.) Saying Tito doesn't deserve this fight is ******. Tito would still be undefeated had he not fought Winky, Bernard, or Roy. Loosing to those guys doesn't indicate you can't beat Pavlick.
I Pavlick looses to all those guys today. Roys fight with Joe was much more competative than Pavlicks fight with Bernard. Roy knocked Joe down. Pav got lit for 12, beaten bloody.
If Tito fought bums like everyone else hed be the #1 guy pfp right now, but because he went to higher weight classes and fought guys that were bigger and stronger than himself you punish him for it and say hes no good.
I like Shane gets his props but he barely got by Myorga. Do you remeber what Tito does to guys like Myorga. Kills them. If Tito was fighting guys like Myorga, Margarito, and Rubio, instead of Roy, Bernard, and Winky then I guess hed be a viable apponent and worthy fo a fight with Pavlick, cause he would have knocked all three out in 8 rounds or less.
But instead he manned up and fought the very best that were bigger than him and lost, and now he's not worthy to get in the ring with someone who got beat worse by bernard five years later. Please. If you are completely logical and do not ignore the fact that Tito is loosing to compatition that is so much higher than what Pavlick, and Abraham and the rest of these 160lb guys are fighting, you would see that Tito deserves to be in the ring with anyone at 160. His record 43-3 with losses to 3 hall of famers Winky, Bernard, and Roy should get you any fight you want.
I mean who at 160 has a better resume. Lets just settle this ish in the ring and if Tito beats Kelly, than eveyone who was talking ish needs to step up and say they were wrong about Tito or look like an b.
We got to remember that Tito's first fight was actually at 140, in his second fight he went went to 147, then later 154, and then 160, where he first lost to a Future Hall of Famer B-Hop. So not only did he fought a defensive genius hall of famer, but he did it 20 pounds higher than his first fight.
I think he should stay retire, not because he can't fight no more, but because of health reasons, why risk it. I know he hasn't fought in a long time, so he's fine, but he's been fighting since little and already has all the money he needs, just stay out and live your life. Open up a gym and start training young boxers.
That being said, if he fights I'll cheer for him, he is a legend and deserves the respect. It will be great to see him fight again, but I hope he doesn't come back for his health.

Great points made, many angles I didn't think about. Your right he has lost to three of the best ever. Two the best defenses and one all time best reflexes. Furthermore was never beaten up. Even with Bhop he could have easily finished on his own two except for a fathers concern which is more protective
Like I said he needs a world class conditioning coach for two more and most fighters don't have the defense to get away from the bombs. Trinidad never relied on youthful vigor and speed so he can walk and throw bombs and if most fighters don't have the defensive IQ of Hop or Jones or Winky then its lights out...at least for two more carefully chosen vics.
Inactive since last January's decision loss to Roy Jones Jr, former three division champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad is still looking for big fights. A lot of his critics are telling him to walk away, Trinidad says that he stays in shape and is still fully capable of taking on the big fights. [details]
