I agree with you specially with Nazeem cuz guy didnt do **** all his trainer career. He was second guy in Hopkins Corner at the end 2006 he became Hopkins trainer.
All morons said how he improve Sugar Shane but that aint true.

Yup, I like Margarito but I know that his skill is crap apart from his nice uppercut. Mosley always fought with the punch and clinch style that he used against Margarito, just watch Mosley vs. Cruz on the Barrera/Peden fight, ****m Richardson did nothing to help Mosley in my opinion.

It's hard to say who is the best because so much depends on the fighter's talent and desire.

However its hard to argue that Nacho puts his guys in the best position for success.

It would be amazing to go in a time machine and wonder what he could've done with some guys e.g. Ponce De Leon, Arce or Naseem Hamed (he aint mexican but damn he would've been interesting none the less)

maybe Im alone in this thought, but Ive always thought Eddie Futch was the best trainer of all time. He didnt train any real superstars per say...but he had a real knack for taking raw fighters and building them into World Champions. which I believe is the biggest indicator of a successful trainer.

its a lot more impressive to me than say Angelo Dundee training Ali...since Ali was born with a lot of the traits that made him special, and often did his own thing completely to win fights, and pretty much ignored his trainer.

Senior layed down the foundation for mayweather jr's success in boxing.

DLH fought at his best when trained by him.

Hatton almost got beat by Luzcano so then he goes out and hires Floyd Sr and completely dominates Malignaggi who is a much better fighter than Luzcano.

he also trains Guzman. I don't think I need to add anything to this.

Floyd quite simply understands how to get a fighter ready physically and mentally for a fight. Other than ****m Richardson, I don't think there is a trainer out there that understands how to train a boxer and get him ready for a fight like Floyd does.
Mayweather Sr. is not a good trainer. he lives on his sons name, and thats about it.
#1: Roger is the real trainer of Mayweather Jr. Senior only trained Jr as a child. and you cant really give him credit for that, otherwise a lot of famous boxers' dads and early amateur coaches just magically became some of the best trainers of all time.
#2: Hatton didnt look any different in the Malignaggi fight. maybe he kept up his right hand a little more, but thats about it. more than anything Hatton did better against Malignaggi when he went back to his old style of lunging foward with the left and mauling. and hes always done that.
#3: DLH did not fight his best when trained by him. If anything, it was a surprise how much De La Hoya got hit against Vargas, most people thought Vargas wouldnt be much of a challenge going into the fight from what Ive read.
#4: If Mayweather was such a great trainer, why did he let Guzman fail to make weight against Campbell? It wasnt a matter of Guzman simply not being bale to make the weight anymore, because not long ago he just made it again. and whats more, its not like Mayweather Sr trained Guzman his whole career, because I remember reading that he was trained by Robert Garcia and some other head trainer.

Nacho Beristain >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mayweather Sr., easily.
