Yeah I have, Benitez was great, undoubtedly one of the best fighters out of PR. He was also a good counter puncher who gave Ray Leonard a tough fight.

You he was really great, he shooled Duran, and he had close fights with Leonard and Hearns.

The thing I liked the most about him, was how he was laying on the ropes, he stood there and still they couldnt hit him. He had the best upperbody movement of all time. In the Hearns fight theres was a moment when Hearns threw 17 straight punches, while Benitez was laying on the ropes, and didnt land 1. It was great. Even both Leonard and Hearns said That Benitez is the best fighter they have ever seen!!!!!!!

Benitez is awesome I love that guy. My pops got some videotape of him. I would say, him, Floyd, Toney B-Hop and Whitaker have the best defense. Honorable mention to Winky.

Totally agree. I think even tho` he is in the lower weight classes, Calderon should be named too.

Definitely. Ivan gets no love, he's a master in the ring.

the thing that seperates floyd from whitaker and pep, is his ability to counter off of the block, which i haven't seen any fighter do as fluidly as he did. his counter on jukko off of the block was just so well timed and smooth. he fights so pure. he defends so naturally and knows how to time punches against him very well. whether he's on the ropes or in the middle of the ring, floyd can counter off of his block, which is something that has won him many fights. he's the most gifted technician i have ever saw im my life, and he defense is the best i've seen along with whitaker and pep. benitez was a special defensive fighter, but not as smooth as pep and whitaker, and damn sure not as fluid as floyd. floyd's defensive timing and body poistioning is just astonishing. watch his fight with jukko, gatti especially, tony pep, corley, n'dou, de la hoya to see what i mean. watch them in depth, in slow motion, watch his upperbody flexibility and his blocking and countering off of the block, it's unbelivable just how naturally/technically gifted this kid was/is.

                  i also love toney's and calderon's defense.
