he will be hitting cotto at will? Thats yous plain ridiculous. You talk about Cottos defense as he was Baldomir or Margarito. On order to hit Cotto he will have to pcik his shots to be accuarte, and he doesnt have 1 Punch KO power. So he is not KOing Cotto!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you might be talking about 2 different things. I think Floyd is definatly capable of stopping Cotto but the question is wether he is commited to stopping him. What I mean by that is if he pot shots then he obvisouly has no chance but if he takes his aggressive style then he does have a chance. HIs power is underrated but more then that, you dont have to have awesome power to stop guys. You can say that he will stop him on just basic skill with a combination of accurate punching, tiring Cotto out, Cotto's questionable chin, and just overall being more skillful

Corley also had Mayweather hurt.... He caught Cotto on the temple. It happens. Cotto can and will beat Mayweather. The fact that Mayweather never fought Cotto is very very telling. I love how his fans how all this confidence but the man himself, doesn't.

I think he'd decision Cotto at 147.. Could be a close fight, not sure..

But at 140 I think Floyd wouldve whooped him bad..

More skill problems than stamina problems haha.

Floyd is just too good. I know people hate to admit it, but he is.

Maybe, by a good long fast jab, not by a good short power shot, which is Cotto's jab...

LOL Corley had Cotto seriously hurt and Torres had Cotto down, shoving or not shoving, he also had him pretty much out on his feet.

Of course it does. What do you suggest he should do against Floyd, get on his toes and try and box him?? That's what McGirt thought Gatti could do and he got schooled. Had gatti just went in and applied pressure, he wouldn't have gotten as embarassed as he did. Still would've lost and probably gotten TKo'd but not in that fashion.

Castillo applied pressure and that's the only real close fight Floyd has had. Delahoya applied pressure and it worked to an extent....Oscar lost that fight 8 rounds to 4 imo but still gave a good account of himself.

I suppose he could do what Zab Judah did against Floyd or Sharmba Mitchell, where Floyd gets into a Winky shell and starts coming forward but I doubt it.
