malinaggi has fought who to get that title. ndou!!!
maussa gets in a big shot on vivian harris. but other than that hasnt did **** in his career.
lazcano hasnt fought in 2 yrs before he fought ricky.

rankings are not always good sources to go by. look at the resume and really judge from there

top quality fighters is what i meant. i never specified RANKINGS!! you as a boxing fan should know those are not top fighters. castillo yes. but at that time no. maussa never. lazcano was good at lightweight yrs ago. paulie solid. urango solid as well. in my opinion there were more credible fighters at that time for ricky to face.

If he tries to brawl or stand toe to toe with hatton he removes the advantages he has and plays in hattons world where hattons natural size, strength, bigger punch power and punch resistance will mean pac is in for a long and brutal evening ending with a Hatton UD.

Sorry. I don't understand where all this comes from. Hatton isn't significantly bigger than Pacquiao in any department. In fact, he is smaller in everything except height and size of fist. Everything else, Pacquiao is bigger. He also holds the advantage is skills, smarts, ring generalship, and and speed.

I do believe Hatton's power is slightly overrated and Manny's is underrated, too.

Now, as I've said before, I do give Hatton a big chance in this fight, but I wanted to comment on the size/strength issue. I don't believe it, basically.

Tzsyu was the best in the division in 05, hell he beat the 2nd best in teh division 6 months before he fought Hatton.

if you bring up Junior "****ter" Witter i'll laugh in your face, the guys a Joke battered by the first talented boxer he stepped up against, hatton would have him out of there inside 4 rounds, Witter is on the Stewart/Oilivera level of fighters, look at his resume, the one good performance in his entire career was against Harris and he got KTFO by Maussa!

Every fighter is overrated by some and underrated by some. Nothin new. Hatton has a chance to win and it shouldn't be considered Buster-esque if he beats Pac. But even if he does win, no way he does it by easy demolition imo.

Hatton has some of the best footwork i have ever seen, along with amazing ability to cut the ring off.

I also noticed improved head movement in the Paulie fight, he only resorted back to old tactics in the later part of the fight when he knew Paulie couldnt hurt him.

Pacman is a great fighter, but he does leave plenty of openings for straight punches, and he too also has a tendency to lunge in as well. This fight will be competitive, and could go either way.
