The guttiest performance I have ever seen...

I'm watching Morales-Chavez right now, and when I started it, I completely forgot that Chavez hurt his should in this fight.

He basically fights one-armed, and can only throw with his left for the last 10 rounds... everything after the second round.

It took me 4 rounds to remember his arm was hurt, and it took HBO 6 rounds to figure it out.

Think about that... Chavez is a volume puncher, and no one caught on for a very long time, because he was keeping up an extremely active work rate with his left arm only.

He never looked discouraged, never looked like he wanted to quit, and just kept throwing with that left hand. Absolutely incredible.

I really wonder which arm hurt more in the weeks after this fight... the right arm that had shoulder problems, or the left arm, that is probably about to fall off from overuse.

I'm really going to have to watch Freitas-Barrios the next time it ends up on my DVR... I've never watched it closely... it sounds great though.

Chavez fought his fight against Mayweather. He did well, but... against Morales, he did all the same ****, but with one hand, and against a harder puncher who came at him, rather than eluded him like Mayweather did.

It is insane to me that I wasn't wondering where the workrate went because of that arm... the workrate was there the whole time... he was just making up for his lack of right by doubling his amount of lefts thrown... just crazy.

Danny Williams dislocated his shoulder against Mark Potter but went on to knock Potter out, he won that fight with literally one arm.

I actually just made a thread in the bet forum...

            Chavez over Katsidis
            Casamayor over Diaz
            Barrios over Hernandez
Valero over Pitalua (I've never seen either, but this seems the safer of the two picks)

I don't know who semifinal matchups would end up being, but I think Casamayor, as shot as he is, would probably end up winning the damn thing.

I remember in between rounds, they tried to pull his mouthpiece out and he screamed in pain... it actually kind of turned my stomach... I could not have felt worse for someone...

                Here were his options:
                1. Finish the fight and feel like death would be a good option compared to what he was putting himself through.
                2. Quit, and have his boxing career go to hell.

Fans demand an awful lot out of their fighters...

                Anyway, yeah, that was incredible.

I'll take that 5k on Katsidis. Confirm?
