I'm watching Morales-Chavez right now, and when I started it, I completely forgot that Chavez hurt his should in this fight.
He basically fights one-armed, and can only throw with his left for the last 10 rounds... everything after the second round.
It took me 4 rounds to remember his arm was hurt, and it took HBO 6 rounds to figure it out.
Think about that... Chavez is a volume puncher, and no one caught on for a very long time, because he was keeping up an extremely active work rate with his left arm only.
He never looked discouraged, never looked like he wanted to quit, and just kept throwing with that left hand. Absolutely incredible.
I really wonder which arm hurt more in the weeks after this fight... the right arm that had shoulder problems, or the left arm, that is probably about to fall off from overuse.
