I believe Margarito did cheat against Cotto. But these pictures prove nothing. The blood stain on the pad in the first picture is much smaller than the one on his wraps after the cotto fight. Not to mention the illegal pad they put in his wraps was under gauze so you would not see that particular blood stain anyways.

these pads were being put inside the wrapping. so it would make sense to have it smaller.

No one will ever know if he used those wraps against Cotto. Having blood stains on your wraps is very common in boxing, especially if you have a reaccuring injury there. It might be that the skin splits in his knuckle at that same spot.

You said he might have skin splits in his knuckle at the same spot. If this is true, then that means he really did cheat against Cotto. You will use the same wraps that you beat Cotto against Mosley. He splits his knuckles skins causing to bleed which stained the wraps. Then the same wraps was gonna be used against Mosley until it was discoverd by Shane's trainer and discovered it to have a cement like substance, which is illegal in boxing.

As far as my opinion about the illegal wraps, i don't know if he cheated against Cotto or any other fights.. The answers lies with Margarito and his trainer but will they ever tell the truth, mostly likely not.

i've never seen blood on a fighter wraps after a fight... ever

as many fights as i've been in my wraps are as white as they are after the fight as they are before the fight..... i mean, even if your hands bleed for some strange reason its not gonna be that much blood to soak through all that wrap

and it damn sure aint gonna be in the same spot on both hands!
