proof margarito cheated against cotto

That's impossible. I saw the fight when Cotto went up and hugged Margarito. They didn't touch hands, nor was Cotto's face bloody at the time since they wiped it with a towel. Margarito didn't say to him "oh you got some blood left over on your face, let me clean it off with my hand-wrap."

The only way that thing got bloody is if he cut his hand up pretty bad and it bled through, which is very possible- it happens to me sometimes when I box if I land an awkward punch and the wrap rubs against my knuckles, although my wraps aren't as good as a pro's.

well i don't really remember if the towel stopped cotto's blood. all i know is that the blood stain is awfully similar in both pics, and regardless of whose blood it is, there's a possibility that the blood stain on his wraps penetrated enough to even stain the hard "knuckles"

anyways, i really don't care much about cotto getting a NC for that. the sooner they clear this up and forget about this, the better it is for him, because i doubt that he's not thinking about this, and he should be thinking instead about his possible next fight against clottey or berto, which should be pretty tough

true, you never know though but margarito did throw a **** load of punches. i think that the suspension was thrown in to punish the margarito camp and to cover the CSAC's incompetance. if he did get away with cheating than cotto,williams,clottey, and cintron should fire thier trainers as well. interesting that they would try to cheat in front of a paranoid ass person like richardson? well, i am not margarito so i cant answer those tought questions.

i told u on the other thread. the guy that checked margarito's wraps on that fight was Evangelista's assitant and was the first time that he check some wraps. the guy that is the expert from cotto's camp was on another fight.

So the expert was another fight...?? O.K. that makes sense..

Just have them fight again and stfu...Im not saying that Margarito cheated or didn't cheat against Cotto..he could have...but there is no proof...

the best thing to do is just have a rematch...wich Cotto fans don't want.

if people have died by getting hit by nothing but 8 oz. gloves in the ring.. what makes you think that plaster wont severly increase the potential of serious damage?

anyway, what does it matter how much he used or didn't use? the point is he cheated.
there is no way around that. the facts are he tried to cheat against Mosley, it could have been a little piece of card board or a brick.. it didn't belong there.

Mmm-hmm. I'm sure there are some fights on youtube where it shows gruesome fights were the fighter is just laid out and then died afterwards. I don't remember which ones they were...off the top of my head (as accurately as I can describe them):

In a fight from before the 50's or 40's, there was a fighter who got trapped in the corner, grabbed on to the ropes, and his opponent just absolutely flurried...the ref (since stoppages weren't as immediate as they are today) let the battering continue, despite the fact that the cornered man was completely out on his feet. He must've got hit 8-10 times AFTER you could tell he was already out. He died later on...

Duk-Koo Kim vs. Mancini...the cause of eliminating 15 rounders.

And there was another fight (from 80's or 90's) where a fighter got clipped with a single shot, went down, laid out, and started moving his right arm in a repetitive motion. The title of the video on youtube is something like: "Boxer keeps fighting in his dreams" or something like that. As tactless as the attempt of humor was from the uploader of that video, the guy who was KO'd I believe died later on.

Oscar Diaz(?)...the fighter that was stopped when he started mumbling incoherently in the middle of the rounds, sent to a hospital and slipped into a coma.

I'm sure there are several other fights where people have died or been seriously injured...and those are from normal gloves, imagine the potential that a padded glove can have.
