let's take Oscam for example...IMO, he would have been a greater fighter had he not had a revolving door for trainers and stayed with one...one that he trusted and one that had the knowledge to mold his game
I agree all the way around the table.

I know, but dont you think Pac cant establish such "dynamics" with any other great trainer besides roach when he first arrived in the U.S.?

all in all u guys think this thread is ******ed because pac is the best right now and he shouldn't be with a different trainer. but take a note mayweather sr said this in an interview that pacquiao would be better off without freddie. so does that mean mayweather sr is a ******?

No, I don't personally think so. Some guys just click and know how to bring out the best in certain fighters. Dundee did it for Ali. Steward for Hearns, etc, etc, etc. Not only has Roach done this with Manny, but he's still continuing to improve. I can't say with 100% certainty that he wouldn't or couldn't have found someone else, but I do know its rare to find someone and not only keep on improving, but to stay continually focussed.

No I don't think so. Roach has done a great job with Pac. Pac has to improve his defense a little bit and improve his balance, most importantly, his balance, reason why JMM had an easy time countering him.

So no, he is great with Roach

Ok. youre right. Must have been underestimating how difficult it is to have a chemistry/good relationship between fighters and trainers. thanks.

I guess he feels he can do better with pacs natural streghts and willingness to learn

Once a bond is there its hard to break it. Freddie has done well. If he had a different trainer it wouldnt be good.....He respects Freddie if he went some where else on the top of his game he would feel like his head is big and do what he wants when he wants.... Example; Tyson, DLH, Taylor....
