WBO super flyweight champion Fernando Montiel (38-2, 28KOs) has promised a new and improved look when move up in weight to fight Diego Oscar Silva(24-1, 12KOs) for the vacant WBO interim-bantamweight title on March 28 in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Montiel had previously moved up in weight in 2006, but lost a close split-decision to then WBO bantamweight champ Jhonny Gonzalez. [details]

fight with morel would have been interesting,but i don't think morel is that good anymore,but he will get shot at title,but has to go where champion wants,when he becomes champ,he can demand same thing,but the reason for not fighting was money anyways...i want to see montiel/darchinyan,,i think vic is just too strong for montiel,but should be good fight.Comment
