I 've always thought that Floyd was a style nightmare for Alexis

Floyd and Arguello are the two greatest 130lbers ever IMO, both very complete fighters

I would compare this to Arguello vs Olivares..... PUAS was whoopin ass until Arguello's body shots left Puas laying on the floor.

Arguello and Pac are two the most down to earth boxers i ever saw, i got it as a majority draw. Alexis keeps the title.

Andrew Ganigan same height as Pacman - southpaw dropped Arguello

22-year-old Jose Luis Ramirez, another southpaw decked Arguello and lost in what people say was a "controversial decision" I don't have a link to the fight but here's a video of a more experienced version of Ramirez against Chavez and Rosario.
            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neoUsj6PDVc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBlz35VCRA8

a slow and light punching Jim Watt, yet another southpaw, landed and actually managed to cut Arguello

even one-dimensional southpaw Rolando Navarette landed flush lefts on Arguello

Point is, Pacquiao have practically the same power as the guys that managed to floor and cut Arguello, but these fighters are nowhere near as fast and as busy as Pacquiao still they managed to land on Arguello and avoid his punches at the same time. Arguello fought these guys in his prime so I think he's in his best form against these guys, so I don't think he'd be quick enough for Pacquiao.

No disrespect to Arguello and his legacy but I believe Pacquiao has a bigger chance of beating Arguello than Arguello beating Pacquiao. Pacquiao beats Arguello because of his speed, power, workrate, southpaw stance and unorthodox style, while Arguello will rely on his height and reach advantage to try to KO Pacquiao from the outside, something that isn't easy to do. Mayweather on the otherhand would run circles around Arguello and would beat Arguello easier than Pacman can, I don't think Arguello can land flush on Mayweather.
