Diaz/Marquez: if its a shoot out who wins

I feel like I have to hype up this fight cause there's not enough threads about this awesome fight...

Not to say this is how the fight will unfold, but if diaz and marquez go toe to toe no defense just straight up brawling, who takes it???

    vote and discuss.

Marquez will not brawl with a swarmer. He will trade, but as a boxer/puncher (as he always has).

if Marquez does get baited into trading inside with Diaz, he will lose. Diaz is one of the best inside fighters in boxing.

when Marquez goes toe to toe there is a high percentage that he will hit the canvas...people mistake him for a fighter who wars, he is not a toe to toe fighter he is a technical fighter, who counter punches and has good accuracy. Toe to toe is Diaz's specialty, thats what he does in all his fights, it's Diaz's job to make it a toe to toe fight and Marquez to make it a technical fight.

people have the wrong picture of Marquez, they see the replay of his fights with Barrera and Pacman and they think he's a brawler...those fights are great examples of what happens when Marquez starts to brawl with brawlers, he gets dropped!

Marquez is a technical fighter a great counter puncher not a brawler like Diaz

If it's a full fledged brawl start to finish, Diaz wins. Too much handspeed. Doubtful he can force this on JMM for 12 rds tho.

there is no way you could force a brawl on JMM... he is to Technical and has very good accuracy. I don't know but since they are both NACHO"S pupils (JMM and RAFA MARQUEZ) I think he can but he prefers to counter.....

i see juan manuel marquez being a complete better fighter than juan diaz so that being said in a brawl he wont get sloppy and let diaz bully him all over the ring i think he picks apart diaz on saturday night
