whats funny is i just read at ****************** that the ppv only sold to about 100,000 homes, and 9,000+ showed up at msg,not a sell out,and that "home" for cotto, imagine if he fought in vegas, what? 4,000+..in the past arum said he hasn't sold much with cotto,so he needs to fight guys who will help him sell, because cotto alone can't..maybe against clottey it might help and a lot,a lot of promotion for the fight will be needed for people to buy itComment

Tell 1 current fighter who would off sell out MSG fighting Bum ass jennings. get real. To sellout a place, you need a star and a decent fighter atleast.whats funny is i just read at ****************** that the ppv only sold to about 100,000 homes, and 9,000+ showed up at msg,not a sell out,and that "home" for cotto, imagine if he fought in vegas, what? 4,000+..in the past arum said he hasn't sold much with cotto,so he needs to fight guys who will help him sell, because cotto alone can't..maybe against clottey it might help and a lot,a lot of promotion for the fight will be needed for people to buy itComment

I used to want to see Cotto/Cintron because I felt like their styles and big KO power would make for an exciting fight but after what Cintron did at the Martinez fight and the B.S. he pulled I lost all type of interest in him. What a phony! Walking around talking about "You know I won that fight"? & then he did that ****** dance on the ropes looking like a Orchid. Now he's going around talking about "I will Knock Miguel Cotto out"? Cotto didn't even mention him. Cintron should fight Zab or least go to the back of the line at 147 because he skipped his opportunity at Welter to fight Clottey and get a strap so why should he get a Cotto fight & not Clottey or Berto when their champs?Comment

i was at msg that night and there was over 12000 people and it was roudy as hell, Cotto has a huge fanbase and is the biggest draw at welterweight. When Cotto fought Judah(which i also attended it was sold out and sold more seats than any other boxing event, EVEN TRINIDAD fights look it up if u dont believe me. Gotta do your hw on this onewhats funny is i just read at ****************** that the ppv only sold to about 100,000 homes, and 9,000+ showed up at msg,not a sell out,and that "home" for cotto, imagine if he fought in vegas, what? 4,000+..in the past arum said he hasn't sold much with cotto,so he needs to fight guys who will help him sell, because cotto alone can't..maybe against clottey it might help and a lot,a lot of promotion for the fight will be needed for people to buy itComment

I think stamina wise yes but Clottey will not back Cotto up. However Berto has enough power to hurt Cotto so i dont know both good fights. And Berto did just have a tough fight with Collozo so saying he is green is not really true, although Clottey is the more seasoned fighter. PeaceComment

Compared to Cotto..and CLOTTEY!!!...u damn right he's green, he's greener than green tea itself. But that's no reason to rule him out of "serious" contention. Besides, the man's a belt holder, or titlist or whatever...he's got the "WBC" belt, not that ****ty WBO junk...He earned it.
Nobody is feeding Berto to Cotto...This is a natural thing. This "green" argument isn't valid. I almost feel like we're talking about the globbal warming crisis here. People are simply judging the man on an unfair scale. What do you have to do to get a good fight? huh? He's called Cotto out, he's earned a prestigious belt, he's been tested. He may be lacking in experience when compared to Cotto...but experience isn't everything, Speed, Athletism, Skill, and Physique are also determining factors. Berto's got something. that "something" makes him a serious contender.
Flatline.
NOTE: Cintron's now soft-hearted. His heart pumps kool-aid.Comment

Why do you think Berto is the best? I think Cotto would beat him senseless and he has to rematch Collazo after that disappointing showing.
Cotto-Collazo should be the front runner because it will be a lot more competitive and could go either way.Comment
