I really doubt that Celestino Caballero who's 5'11'' and has 72'' of reach could compite at welterweight for example. Paul is a volume puncher and has good power, of course he could make the 168 limit but I don't think he could be a top contender there, what happens if he fight a guy like Ward or Dirrell? He will loose speed and his stamina could be affected too but against Hopkins he can compete.

But he is still a beast
I dont recall him hurting anyone with single shots at higher weights.

I agree, That's the thing. Alot of fighters are tall and can fight at the lower weights because they dont put on much weight at a young age. But once you get older that goes away, You saw with Oscar De La Hoya. Here was a guy who won titles at 130 and 135 but when he got to 33-35 he was a natural Middleweight. He worked his ass off just to make 154, I agree about Paul. He could go up and beat certain fighters above 160 but im not sure about the elites. He would proberbly lose to a Ward or Dirrell

I dont think anyone beats him at 154 though

And id pick him over Hopkins at 168

IMO, Bernard shouldn't still be fighting.

I agree. He's too old and if he keeps fighting then sooner or later someone like Williams will come through and beat him up.
