Larry I agree with you. A win against Hatton Does NOT catapult Pac into a ridiculous higher position in the ATG list. AT BEST in my opinion, maybe 1 or 2 slots higher. But also in my opinion.......Pacquiao IS already in top 30-40. So what I'm saying is lets say Pac is number 38 on most of the ATG list. A win against Hatton would make him number 37.

A Hatton win isn't as great as a Barrera or a Morales win. Both of those are ATG fighters. A Cotto win in my opinion (if it ever happens) is slightly a higher achievement than a Hatton win.

People often say ****** things around here because they are either extremely ignorant, or they are trying to get a rise out of others. Most of the time, neither is worthy of a response.
i understand..but when things are said unjustly i feel the need to take up for floyd..i dont come on here and talk **** about joe, manny or even margo..i wish we could just discuse boxing and cut the childish **** out

Pac's beaten better fighters and had better fights. Floyd, though, is a boxing legend

You're not alone. Seeing as the moderators are not doing their job very well and taking out the garbage on a regular basis, it's up to us to pick and choose which discussions we get involved in. I don't like having to put people on ignore, but recently I have started to use that option. You can't even be a regular fan of a fighter on here. Even if you are completely neutral or you don't have an obvious extreme hatred for them, you will most likely be labeled "nuthugger" at some point. It is ridiculous, but unfortunately it isn't likely to change anytime soon. It's just something I have learned to live with -- the board is full of immature, testosterone-filled idiots. Eventually I came to realize they are not worth my time. Why bring yourself down to their level?

I dont think so, Pac still had to beat a Prime p4p fighter IMO

the Pac hype is getting ridiculous on this forum, but if Pac goes on to threaten Floyds ATG standing, we can expect Floyd to come out of retirement and fight him, which would most likely end in Floyd embarrasing Pac over 12 rounds...

Hatton is his strongest at 140 and holds a title and the ring belt so for Pac to go into 140 and challenge Hatton there is a bigger accomplishment than mayweather beating him at 147. Also when there were many bigger challenges at 147 at the moment(and still) and hatton is the biggest challenge at 140
to agree with your logic I would have to say that there are bigger fights at 135 for Pac. Floyd being a natural lightweight moving up to fight Deloya at 154 at his strongest weight and beating him doesn't do anything for Floyd's career. there's no difference between the two they are both fighting the fights that makes the most money and nothing else, by the way Ricky is bigger then Floyd.
