I think Clottey knocks Cotto out.......!

He's too strong and his defence is very good. I think he'll have Cotto hurt around the 7th. He is VERY hungry and will finish it within the distance.

    Clottey by KO.

Clottey will cover up like he does and Cotto will go right around them arms and kill Clottey's body....in my opinion. Clottey will stand in front of him and thats a bad idea.

also might be a bad idea for Cotto to stand in front of him, I see him boxing more.

would be a very good fight that's for sure.

I just have this feeling Clottey is avery strong opponent who is very solid in his stance and will not back up. He was absolutely schooling Margarito in their match (althugh Margacheto may not have been using plaster at that time) until he smashed his hand on cheto's granite chin. Cotto was fighting tooth and nail with Margarito early as the 2nd round.... Clottey also hurt Cheto with some awesome shots... something Cotto could not do.

Clottey's left hooks are a thing of bueaty imo, at one point in the Cheto fight he unleashed FOUR left hooks in a row - great stuff!

His resume is not as strong as Cotto's but I really think he is strong enough, quick enough and clever enough to knock cotto out.

Clottey's weakness is his body. Cotto's strength is his body work. I honestly believe Clottey holds slight advantages in all other areas but that one flaw is a major one and would largely affect the outcome. But as another poster mentioned, he's very hungry, far hungrier than a Cotto.

if joshua clottey is as hungry as he's been for a big fight i think he is a very dangerous opponent for miguel cotto and he has a good chance to pull off the upset in the fight

Comparing there fights with Margarito means nothing. And I thought Cotto schooled Margarito the first half of taht fight.

                your entitled to your opinion.

Clottey covers up well and will give Cotto a problem.
I still feel that based on what we've seen form Both fighters, that Cotto should win the fight. I don't know if it will be by KO but it will be a victory for Cotto.

rewatch the fight. Cotto was fighting for his life against cheto in the 2nd round.

Clottey had that cheater in his pocket until the end of the 4th. He was controlling him, basically beating him up. Cotto was always backing up, backing up and he cound't hurt cheato. I know the cheto that stepped into the ring with Cotto was likely in his plaster prime and against Clottey he may not have been but during the early rounds the plaster would not have been hard. I also admit cheto was no doubt in the best ever condition he has been for the cotto fight.

I don't think Clottey is easy to hit to the body... he always comes VERY well conditioned though, **** on 147 and normally comes in around middle/supermiddle.
