low reps and high weight will. Most modern boxers include anaerobic and aerobic training.

The thing not to do is consume massive amounts of food/calories to gain weight and make yourself big. Eat a controlled amount of food so you can monitor your weight and strength/muscle.

      Hatton
      Pacquiao
      Holyfield
      Roy Jones

4 fighters that I know use/used resistance training, Pacquiao doesn't use traditional weights but he does do strength routines involving high weight.

All those guys are/were fast and hit hard. Muscle also tends to improve your punch resistance as it offers armor and better recoop.

It's a load of trash when people say you will become slow when you put on muscle. If you body build, you will become slow is more like it. Put on the right type of muscle and you can be fast as hell.

Roy Jones was jacked at heavyweight, he was incredibly fast.
