I agree, Cintron doesn't deserve a opportunity with Cotto, especially after watching Cintron's last performance, but the reason why the fight is being considered is the backround and history of both fighters. Both have lost to only one fighter, Margofraudo", both are Puerto Rican, both have completely different styles that make it interesting and the fight will be during the Puerto Rican Festive Weekend. I would rather Cotto fight Clottey but I wouldn't mind seeing Cotto put Cintron out of his missery. I did use to back Cintron but your right, he discussed me with his last performance. Bring Clottey. He deserve that fight. By the way, Clottey ko Cotto. (I am puertorican and a Cotto fan, but Clottey is to much for cotto). The only way I could see cotto wining that fight is that he change of trainer (mayweater Sr, Nacho or Freddie Roach)------> not gonna happen.

Clottey deserves it! Hes going to beat cotto. Trust me on this. Cintron was ko in his last fight and then got up in loss a decision in my eyes. Stop playing and give the hitter his shot.

Cotto-Clottey is a better fight. Clottey is tough & would be a competitive fight. Cintron sucks, he got knocked out by Martinez & cried about it then got a draw.
