in scotland,wales & (most of) ireland "god save the queen"has been booed for years! & its never bothered me,even though im a proud englishman & brit!

I thought IV was absolutely atrocious, but V wasn't that bad for what it was IMO (though my expectations were lowered).

I might ******* those three and watch them when I get time, but I've forgotten the finer details of them now... Kirsty Cotton's the girl in the first one, right?

That was always a fundamental problem with the films when you looked at them logically... anyone opening the box would get INSTANTLY ripped apart... unless it was the female lead, then they'd have a chat with her.

I think the series' real problems came when they decided that Pinhead was the "star" Cenobite... because for me Chatterer was just as good.

The theory was in theory of course, that the motivations of the person opening the box were what caused the effect.

So Kirsty in the first one was innocent, and same with two. Her motivations were pure.

remember in II the mute girl opens the box and pinhead stops them from killing her because she didn't know what she was doing?

I think that's the "logic" although you are right that it varies too much.

Chatterer was awesome. I love pinhead as the lead but there was no reason when he came back he couldn't have ressurected his old troops.


I hated V. It felt like a C- movie. VI is with Kirsty but more of the same.

I'm a soundtrack guy so I have a hard time watching hellraiser without Christopher Youngs top notch score behind it.

Now one or two were joking like squel but the responses were not joking. Just angry angry people.

But the answer to this is obvious: This kind of thing is frowned up on the US. In the UK it's commonplace and not a big deal.
