Fat Yanks booing our national anthem...

You know what pisses me off about Yanks?
They changed the location of the house on Lodovico street from Hellraiser 1, to NYC in Hellraiser II.
What kind of anti-UK bull**** is that.
That being said, Hellbound is clearly the superior flick overall.Comment

I just checked on the IMDb and realised I haven't seen any of the last three straight-to-video sequels:
Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002) (V)
Hellraiser: Deader (2005) (V)
Hellraiser: Hellworld (2005)(V)
I enjoyed the first two, the third went into that wise-cracking Freddy mode where everything's a one-liner. (Though Freddy was initially good as well of course).
Never realised at the time it was written by a Brit f.ag.... I guess with all the S & M references it should have been obvious.Comment

I've seen em. ****ing avoid. Other tahn maybe Hellseeker because it has the return of Kirsty Cotton for purists. Warning: it is direct to video quality, the music and the film style suck.I just checked on the IMDb and realised I haven't seen any of the last three straight-to-video sequels:

I agree with you about the first two. the third I enjoy but it is **** since Pinhead is basically a slasher in that one. I do enjoy some scenese like the nightclub massacre, the church scene and his speeches. Another problem with III: he's got nails in his head. I think the costume department ****ed that up.
What did you think IV? Bloodline: An Alan Smithee film.Comment

I thought IV was absolutely atrocious, but V wasn't that bad for what it was IMO (though my expectations were lowered).I've seen em. ****ing avoid. I might ******* those three and watch them when I get time, but I've forgotten the finer details of them now... Kirsty Cotton's the girl in the first one, right?
That was always a fundamental problem with the films when you looked at them logically... anyone opening the box would get INSTANTLY ripped apart... unless it was the female lead, then they'd have a chat with her.
I think the series' real problems came when they decided that Pinhead was the "star" Cenobite... because for me Chatterer was just as good.
You know what? I've only just realised why you brought it up.
Talk about slow on the uptake.
Yeah, Butterball was a good Cenobite too.Comment

Just because some British guy makes a thread like this, doesn't mean you have the right to talk **** about out country either. Personally i couldn't give a **** about our anthem being booed, it happens all the time all over the world.I feel like he fought all crappy british fighter his whole career, fought 2 washed up figters in america and then quickly got out of boxing with his tail between his legs...Afterwards bashing his own sport by sayin hes glad to be leaving boxing and that boxing is dying...Man...what a hero you all got...you british scum will never come close to taking over american boxing or mexican/puerto ricans...
And i root for fighters who i respect the most for there skills inside the ring, im not one of those people that automatically root for a fighter. Just because there from the same country, it isn't about country vs country. Its about 2 fighters inside the ring and the better man wins.
I rooted for Evander Holyfield over Lennox Lewis. Because i liked Evander Holyfield's style more and i respect him more than Lennox Lewis.
Lastly you say British will never take over boxing, no they won't but i think we've done ok in the past few years, considering our country is about 100 times smaller than yours.Last edited by Burning Desire; 02-22-2009, 10:14 AM.Comment
