Hatton is catching a beat down.

    So is Froch.

    Calzaghe retired because of Dawson.

Now, I will retire to my cave, and eat 3 Sourdough's, a 6 piece egg roll, and 6 taco's. It would have been more, but it ain't Taco Tuesday at Del Taco, you under dig?
The bolded still has to be proven.

But like I've said several times, this thread has NOTHING to do with UK boxing.

How else are they going to defend the decline of American boxers? I think you putting Fat Yanks in the thread title kind of sparked a US vs UK debate......

Yeah, the fact that I'm a UK poster is naturally going to get a kneejerk "well what about UK fighters...?" reaction, but the UK having ****ty fighters is nothing new. Fat Yanks underachieving in the sport IS.

This is a good wake up call in my opinon. It just shows how the US isn't always the "best", maybe it can change the mentality that some posters have. Germany is becoming a hot spot for boxing as well. Fighters can nearly make as much money going over there to fight. The shift of power in boxing may be a good thing in the long run.

Would you agree that this is probably the nadir of Fat Yankery in the sport?

See, people say stuff like "the UK only has about 3-6 good boxers", but for us that's an all-time high.
