People wont remember little ol' Joe Calzaghe's name like Holmes or Ali 10-20 years from now. Only reason I say Jones would be remembered is because what he did in weight no one did in 100 plus years. That's what will carry his name along with his talent. Truth. no love, no hate.

No matter what Joe will do he wont get the love. Its not hate its truth. Same will most likely go for PBF who will always be loved or hated no matter what he does (mainly because of his **** talking).

Either way Holmes and Ali are real ATGs and should not be mentioned even on the same topic as Calzaghe. I know what your sayin' and I'm not sayin'... I'm just sayin'.... you dig!
i hated using Joe's ****ty name in the same sentance as Holmes and Ali..believe me..i was just making the point that YOU DON'T CLOWN SHOT FIGHTERS..ESPECIALLY LEGENDS.

Fighting Hopkins and Jones were not only easier fights for Calzaghe and both older then him, but he also made more money against them then he would against Dawson who i feel would have beaten him.
That fine, I still think B-hop is a harder fight for Joe than Dawson IMO, but if Joe had continued I wouldn't have accepted anyone other than Chad as his opponent.

Dawson hasn't beaten anyone worth mentioning apart from bums. 40 YEAR OLD Tarver doesn't count. Hopkins would destroy the overrated bum.

You don't really think a 43 y/o Hopkins with a SUSPECT OFFENSE is a tougher fight than Chad Dawson.

          You don't believe that yourself..lol

I agree with this guy, Dawson is just a bum who couldn't even beat a 40 year old Johnson. Typical overrated chump who is not even worth Joe's time. Chad isn't even the best in his own division.

              a Joe fan can't attact anybody's resume..lol

Dawson beat Tarver..the first guy to KO RJJ.

Joe had to get off the floor to SLAP by a SHOT RJJ.

              Joe's last opponents 43 y/o Hopkins...40 y/o TWICE KO'd Ghost of Roy Jones.

              Dawson > Calzhage

WHO WOULD YOU RATHER FIGHT LIKE.....JOE....OR CHAD......???

I don't know about you b*tches..but I'd rather have Chad's skills than that slappy **** Joe hides behind.

To say he didn't bring the money to the table is fine but to say he wasn't ready is ridiculous.

Dawson has recently beaten the who's who of the 175 pound division. He was more than ready for his shot at the man and would have given him one hell of a fight IMO.

Joe is just a WBO level bum that got a gift over a 43 y/o Hopkins and slapped-up 40 y/o SHOT TO HELL Jones..and had to get off the floor to do it...lol

You can't slam Chad for fighting 40 year olds when Joe is twice as guilty.

Joe can fight Manfredo but he can't fight Dawson..LOL

Dawson is more accomplished than that BUM...even his ssyfied fans can see that.
