What a joke. They have very little in common.
Fighting styles and accomplishments over weight class, Armstrong has more in common with Mayweather than Manny.

Pac's record is extremely good, Flyweight, Super bantamweight, Super featherweight, lightweight.

But the reason armstrong's achievment was so impressive was because he beat genuine world title holders at three weights inside a 12 month period.

Pac hasn't achived that, as impressive as his resume is. .

true, but pac got pretty close, which is what "likens pac to armstrong" probably means.

floyd cannot be compared to armstrong because he has not performed said feat or attempted it... floyd isnt busy enough to acheive that.

You can pick holes in anyones resume, it's just that with some you start looking a little silly at times

The only ?? for me on Pac is that he's only fought 1 genuine world class fighter who campaigned above 126lb's rather than moved up to fight there and larios is only borderline world class.

Beating hatton will knock off that one minor and it is minor ?? for me.

not trying to pick holes in floyd's resume... just saying what floyd wanted to do in his career isn't remotely close to what armstrong wanted to do with his career.

iMHO floyd's goal was always to beat dlh.

Armstrong (if I remember correctly) wanted to get the spotlight away from the HWs so he did what he did.

didnt morales and mab pretty much clear out 130 before pac got there?

can't really blame pac for not fighting genuine world class fighters above 130... diaz was obviously a tune up fight so pac could acclimate himself to 135 and dlh at 147 was a purely a money fight... i'm not gonna be too critical because he's only had 2 fights above 130.

MAB was a 122 fighter in his pomp, Morales too.

I agree it's not Pac fault about Diaz 135 or ODLH and while I'm not critical i'm also loathe to give a great deal of credit.

Like I said minor ? not gaping hole.

I'm not sure about Mayweather and Armstrong having similar fighting styles...

I suggest that some people on this board watch some fights first or learn a little bit more about boxing history or two before crashing in on this board trying to sound intelligent. Ya hear that flawless?

I hope you don't get the gist of the whole thing as me telling you're intelligent:
                    C'est au contraire.
