So what you're saying is if Haye was champion, the heavyweight division would be okay.

Why does the champion need to be black, in order for the division to be in a good state? Seems very racist to me.

I just read from a less-than-100% reliable source (another boxing forum, ESB) that Haye's management is now in talks with Arreola's camp.

It's difficult to believe Haye would come to the US to fight Arreola on HBO, but if he did, I'd have to give him props for it.

Haye Arreola would be a good fight but Arreola looked awful against Walker, I dont see it happening though surley Arreola would fight Wlad if Haye doesnt unless Wlad fights Povetkin some time soon. I still think that Haye vs Wlad is going to happen.

Well, I imagine we'll know sometime in early March if Wlad vs. Haye is going to happen or not.

Surely an announcement will soon be made - hopefully this week...

apparently hayes offered to fight in germany or anywhere vlad wants! haye even dropped his wage demands & and agreed to a 3 rematch clause!!! (whether this is true or not i dont know?) but haye obviousley wants the fight!

if the fight don't happen it will be interesting to see who wlad fights.arreola fights mccline April 4,dimitrenko may be fighting rogan in Ireland(only rumors),there has been audley Harrison challenging haye but i'm not sure if that would ever happen.povetkin(#1 contender ibf) fights estrada in April.I have no idea who wlad would fight if the haye fight doesn't happen.I say dimitrenko(#1contender wbo) would take the wbo title shot instead of the European title shot but you never know.msskaev has been crying about a title shot vs vitali so it's possible he could be an opponent.maskaev has a tuneup in a week or 2 so he'd have 3 months to prepare.James toney is available & he's a name opponent with little chance of winning but he is popular in the los angeles area.the list of available opponents for June is pretty small.he has to sign to fight povetkin by sept 12 or he is stripped of ibf title.I hope the haye fight happens or I think it's maskaev,toney,or most likely dimitrenko
