It sickens me when I have to read about how Clottey would beat most WW. It makes me very sick. This guy is living of his loss to Margarito like how Vitali lives off Lewis.

Let’s examine his best win
Zab Judah. For a guy who weighs near 170 come fight night it’s quite pathetic that he was unable to KO much smaller Zab Judah. Kostya Mayweather and even Cotto all beat the fresher Judah better than Clotty did.

What is Clottey advantage? Maybe his size, he is not a great boxer. I could see Carlos Q even outpointing this chin but he does have a questionable chin. He would not have a size advantage over the Punisher.

Mayweather fought with a injured shoulder against Castillo. What about his hand against Hernandez he continued throwing. Herans broke his right hand against Hagler and continued throwing.

Joshua Clottey has won a vacant title against Judah. He lost to Margarito but yet people call him one of the best WW.

People do tend to give Clottey too much credit for having a close fight with Margarito. But they also realize the potential in every fight he is in. His only other loss was to Baldomir, in which he was leading. The Zab fight didn't even go the distance, so why bother comparing it completely to Mayweather's fight? And Kosta Tszyu was getting beaten until he landed one good punch against Judah, how was that a better performance when it ended in 2 rounds?

You aren't looking close enough. Clottey has good hand speed and he is a sound technician, he doubles and triples up on his left hooks and he is a good body puncher as well.

And how is he all bark, no bite? Did he fucking quit in the fight? He was still throwing (not as much as in the beginning), but he wasn't going to jeopardize hurting his hand more in the fight.
