I used to think that Clottey was under rated but after reading a lot of people opinions about him he is very overrated.

He is pretty good, but some people act like he is the best 147 pounder out there without question.

To me he is a classic front runner, when things are right for him he looks like a million bucks but if things are not right he gets frustered and his overall mentality suffers. This is not the trait of a top class fighter.

He has not really proven **** at the world class level. If he was as good as people claim he would have did Zab up much worse, nor would he have lost 8 rounds against Margarito in a fight that he was doing good in. He would have also kept his head in the game to not get DQ'd against Baldomir. All those fights are red flags to me regarding how highly to rate him.
