Winky Wright's new braces

I was surprised to read that **** too. Why the hell did he have to get braces? He's damn near 40.

He'll get them taken out I'm sure. I remember when I was younger I accidentally hit my friend playing basketball and the skin inside his mouth was stuck to his braces. What happens if the mouthpiece slips just once? It only takes on decent punch and he's cut.

How often does Winky really get hit though? I would be worried is it were say Margarito wearing braces because he's bound to get cut up, but considering Winky is a defense fight fighter I think he'll do okay.

I had braces when I was 17, and whenever I spared in the ring I just made sure I covered up good, especially around the mouth and nothing big ever happened. Winky is good at covering up, he will just go into his turtle shell whenever Pwill tries to throw his bombs.

ppl keep talking about winkys guard but like i said in an earlier post, even if he's blocking punches with his guard, his arms and gloves are being driven into his face - that in itself could really **** up his mouth

And it's not like Williams wont be able to hit him cleanly. Winky's nose is flat for a reason. Dude isn't untouchable, just hard to hit cleanly.
