No I get ya but let's remember who we are talking about. Winky Wright has one of the best defenses in the game. I can see Williams outpointing Wink to a decision, but a brutal beat down I cannot.

Positive, he got braces. Check out the vid yourself (interview in the vid section)

i know man BUT even if winky is blocking punches with his guard, his arms and gloves are still being driven into his face. that itself might bust up his mouth real bad.

I have to admit I want to see Winky beat. It would be better for the sport if Williams won, even better if he stopped him.

Why is that? Excuses to come:
Williams wins: Winky was too old, he had almost a two year layoff, maybe even wasnt the old Winky anymore. Basically taking the win away from Williams.

Winky wins: Williams went up against a real middleweight, still one of the pound for pound best, Williams should rule the 147-154 weight classes. Basically Winky was just too much of a class up and Williams still has time to reach that kind of potential.

I am however sure that if Winky wins he's going to up his monetary demands for his next big fight(s) though, which would suck.

I agree with that but theirs always excuses.

Just seems to me it would be better for boxing.
Williams is the more exciting fighter. The more active fighter, the younger fighter and had shown the willingness to actually fight somebody. Doesnt demand crazy amounts of money and doesnt cry all the time. Add to that I want to see Pavlik-Williams and I think alot of people do.

He would be in trouble if the mouth guard gets knocked out cause the ref usually waits for a break in action to stop it and put it back in. Say if he got it with a combo and the first punch in the combo knocked the guard out and another one or two punches landed following up that could **** up the inside of his mouth.

Atleast the good news was that the reporter said he looked to be in good shape. You could only see his face in the vid I watched but his face wasnt bloated. He will need to come in top shape to keep up with williams output. If he doesnt get outworked he can win the fight.
