  • I Asked Ross Puritty about Stopping Wladimir Klitschko...

Here's what he had to say:

"I had 6 days notice. What else could I do? All of the Boxing experts said that he just got tired. Bottom line is I took his, but he couldn't take mine! He tried to knock someone out who wouldn't comply with his request.

"He was very elusive, but I knew that he couldn't keep it up the whole fight. The man can punch, but I don't go down easily."

He won Klitschko's WBC International Heavyweight title but was stripped shortly after. Here is what he said about that.

"Who in Boxing can do it on there own? I thought that I was doing well, until the WBC stripped me for no reason! I guess you gotta be somebody to get somewhere in the Business, I mean sport of Boxing?"

I asked him how he summed up his boxing career:

"How about the Guy who beat two Olympic gold medalists? Klitschko and Jorge Gonzales!"

The Vlad huggers will argue Purrity up and down that Vlad got tired instead of hearing it from the man himself talk about this.

Purrity was a tough guy, always gave opponents who were better than him technically good, solid rounds and beat some of them like Klitschko and Gonzalez.

Puritty took the fight on 6 days notice, if anyone should have been tired it was him.

That fight was 11 years ago. Wlad was 21 years old, only weighed 225 lbs and he had never gone past 7 rounds. He beat the **** out of Purrity for 10 rounds until he ran out of gas and collapsed from complete exhaustion...he never went down from a punch, it was fatigue.

          Vitali destroyed Purrity

Puritty is right. I'm sure he was every bit as tired as anyone else would have been, he just had more ****in balls than Wlad.

He tried to knock someone out who wouldn't comply with his request.
ahahahah is puritty a computer? is he ahnold? sounds a bit terminatorish right there.

He was also a hell of a defensive end when he played for my hometown UTEP Miners.

The loss to Elieser Castillo between the Klitschko fights probably softened him up.

Is there anything you won't try to twist around to suit your fantasies of being on the receiving end of a reach around from Wlad?

People foget he also fought Tommy Morrison to a 10 round draw and would have won that fight by knockout if it was a 12 rounder.
