To give people an idea of how dirty Sandy Saddler was, the referee in his fight with Elorde was banned for life for allowing that fight to continue.

Also, a name that I don't think was mentioned.. Jim Flynn. In his fight with Jack Johnson, he hit him with a beautiful left-right-leaping headbutt, over and over until he got himself DQ'd.
