Those are the top three names in my opinion. Smith was disqualified 11 times.

George Godfrey was also disqualified nearly 10 times but I'm not sure if he had a reputation as a dirty fighter.

It was said that the referees did not bother to warn Gene Fullmer about headbutts, elbows, low blows since he did not know any other way than to fight dirty.
