first live boxing event you attended?

I recently attended the Mosley vs. Margarito fight last month... boxing should re-think having Black vs. Mexican fight in Los Angeles.. the aftermath of that fight was insane.

They never show these types of things on TV.

But, I'm interested. What exactly happened or what did you see/hear?

The first fight I attended was David Tua-Ed Guttierez, a FNF in NYC a few years back. I was writing for a lesser site and when I didn't get credentials for the show I knew it was time to make a change. Luckily a friend of mine had tickets. That was the night Jonathon Banks KO'ed Castillo.

The first HBO show I went to was Malignaggi-Edner Cherry. I've actually never been to a world title fight.

Some fight where my uncle was on the card, I was about 5 or 6. Then in junior high school, the schools in the area put on a tournament at a local nightclub where my cousin fought.

Marquez Vazquez I was the first I went to as an adult.

I've been to a few amateur shows but no pro fights yet. But i've got tickets to adamek - Banks in a couple of weeks cuz i'm holiday in new york at the time.

First fight I ever saw live was Jones Jr/Ruiz in Vegas.
That was a hell of a fight fight to go to. I couldn't believe how many celebs were there. I sat next to Allen Iverson! He's a really nice guy actually. Very polite and soft spoken if you can believe it.
