On this comment, read what u just wrote. Clottey lasted 12 rounds to a decision where margo broke a record for most shots thrown in a bout of 12 rounds. Then he fought Williams, same things 12 rounds. BOTH walked out of the fight and where all ok, no swelling out of the ordinary. Difference is that Williams beat him.

Then comes along Golden Johnson, 1st round KO. Followed by Kermit, beat up to ****(again). THEN COTTO, LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE HIT HIM WITH A SHOVEL IN THE FACE BY THE END OF IT.

Then comes Shane, the loaded gloves comes in, it's discovered, the fight continues. His devastating power disappears again.

U don't see that out of context somehow? He loaded his gloves after his loss and if u don't see that, u are nothing but what i like to call a Marga******.

It also seems that he has used loaded gloves before for some other fights, because blowing someones ear off from a punch is no easy task.

Tape + Gauze = OK (in the allowed amounts)
Tape + Gauze + Plaster = Not OK
Tape + Gauze + Frijoles = Not OK
Tape + Gauze + Makeup = Not OK
Tape + Gauze + Taco Sauce = Not OK

As you can see, it's pretty simple, he tried to cheat against Mosley no matter what else was in his wraps. Even an idiot who thinks that three periods (...) are a spiffy substitute for an interrogation mark (?) could follow and agree with that logic. Did he beat Cotto? Of course he did. It can't be proven if he cheated or not, so why bother. As Miguel himself has said "he was better than me that night and I'll leave it at that". Whatever made him better that night, training or loaded gloves, only Tony knows and it's not worth discussing. Tony is the only one who knows how truly good he is. Or isn't.

It really sucks about margarito....but as a TRUE fan of boxing, i will stay optomistic and maintain my hope for his comeback. AND PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT CHEATING. IF IN FACT YOU WERE A FAN AND TOOK TIME AND ACTUALLY WATCHED FIGHTS INSTEAD OF HATING ONLY ON THE FLAG BOXERS CARRY TO THE RING, YOU WOULD SEE THE HORRIBLE YET BLUNT CHEATING THAT GOES ON IN A LOT OF FIGHTS. (EX: BERTO VS. COLLAZO, CAMBELL VS. FUNEKA, BUTE VS. ANDRADE, CINTRON VS. MARTINEZ) This was simply a bad decision in the part of margaritos camp and unfortunately the hand of justice is a lot heavier on athletes of color.

With that said, It's awful because margaritos loss to mosley was SIMPLY through a boxing style that mosley used that particular night and NOT because he didn't have his "magic" substance.

The problem is that he cheated and HE caused a black eye on the sport of boxing. As a fan, he deserves no respect. He was caught cheating and based upon the findings, the pads had been used before. He deserves to be punished for his actions. A one year long suspension is short, considering the potential damage that he could have done while using those wraps. He jeopardized the life of other fighters.
