Would you expect some random American to know that? I know a little about the Phillipines but my knowledge is limited (and I am well educated), but apart from like the Spanish American War and World War 2 I doubt the Phillipines comes up much in school (atleast from a historical prospecitve).

Well, I just thought it was fair thing to ask. He may not have known he was Filipino. It died after Left Hook answered anyways, and it does make sence that various organizations from the world would share the same initials. I do not think the average Filipino would know what the KKK was in America either. It is just one of those things that rubs people the wrong way /shrug.
