As for the thread, I really think Kessler wants to be king at SMW before he moves up to LHW and challenges some of the guys we really want to see him fight but he will do it eventually IMO. Personally, I'd like to see him fight Taylor, Frotch, Miranda and Bute. At least the winner of Taylor Frotch and Bute.

Are you slightly ******ed? Kessler fought top names in his division. It's only his last 2 fights that has been bull****, and now because of poor management he nearly was gonna go ahead and fight Mads Larsen. A fight, which Kessler wanted only because he and Palle had an agreement that if Palle could make a Kessler-Larsen fight happen in Denmark, he'd let Kessler out of his contract without any lawyers involved. So obviously, Kessler wants to fight go back to fighting the top 10 guys again.

Who did he beat at 147 that impressed you more than his wins at 154/160?

Only 9 out of 45 fights were above 147. He won 6 of those, with the only ones I remember being Joppy, Mayorga. Not exactly incredible. At welter, he at least beat Oscar and a had some pretty solid wins. Whittaker was old, though.

It wasn't necessarily who he fought at the lower weights that impressed me, but more how he did it over 10 years.
