The DLH fight is not a myth, we can make excuses all we want but at the end of the day nobody gave him a chance. People will be talking about that fight in a hundred years. I dont think Manny would be well advised to go picking fights at WW, but to assume he cant win fights that high is just foolish.
Pacquiao really is the Henry Armstrong of our generation. I know with all the fan hype and haters alike its hard to put into perspective, but the man is a true ATG fighter.

I should probably mention that I agree with Burner on his main point: Pacman should be looking at the JWW division, and let the right names from LW come up to fight him there. He already has an amazing legacy and he can probably beat just about anybody under 140 pounds.

You have to be a fan of the sport and not just a fighter to really talk about this. Those saying Pac beats Clottey, have you taken into consideration that Clottey has never been hurt in a fight? Not that this is important because I doubt Pacs handlers would put him anywhere near Clottey. Pac is a great fighter. The fight with Hatton should be a good one. I do think many people are getting a bit carried away with this Pac beats everyone talk though. True Nobody expected Pac to beat Oscar. But nobody expected Oscar to weight 146 on fight night either. Lets watch how Manny does against Hatton and we can go from there.

130lbs = Pacquiao's best weight.

135lbs = Pacquiao's Natural weight at this time for his age.

140lbs = Pacquiao can fight any top fighters at this weight but winning will be
much harder to achieve.(Roach said this is Pac's limit)

147lbs = Not entirely a joke for Pacquiao but...BUT! is too risky for Pacquiao's
health than his career. Only dumb Pacquiao fans would push this kind
of fights for him. Yes Pacquiao is a great fighter...but only in his
weight limit..he is not superman, and even superman can get hurt by
kyptonite.

I can give Pacquiao a puncher's chance against any WW out there... I would not count him out... and I wont say he's sure to win...

I agree with the OP. I like Pac allot, but what he did vs Oscar, won't happen against other WW. Oscar was a fool for coming into that fight so drained.

I don't think that Pacman will lay down for Hatton, he will make it a good,close fight for the first couple. Hatton will be too strong for Pacman in the later rds...I see a stoppage or Pacquiao getting hurt fo real!!

If Pac is agreeing to the tests and the fight is announced, then are we to assume now he's gonna get caught? Doesn't seems as if they're backing out of the testing, or are we now going to assume Pacquiao is already juiced up so now he can fight?
