Thats why Arum wants to make this match-up with Cotto or his new prospect Valero. Arum needs someone to take Pacs throne when Pac hangs em up.

        Pacquiao-Cotto?

Look, Pacquiao whooped De La Hoya's ass. Does that make him capable of posing a threat to a prime Cotto? Come on. Let's be realistic here. Manny would get annihilated. Cotto is MUCH too strong, MUCH too big, and MUCH too heavy of a body puncher in this bout for Manny to present any sort of a problem for Miguel Cotto. Cotto must be laughing his ass off at this prospect of an easy payday. Manny is an exceptionally great fighter, but Cotto is not Margarito(ie a hevay bag with arms) for Manny to pick off. Cotto puts up that guard and block-walks Manny down, brutalizes him to the body, and does what Hatton is going to on May 2,2009. All you Manny fanboys should realize Pac-Man is a great fighter, but you have to know that feasibility of victory ends somewhere.Cotto destroys Manny in 4. You heard it first if ever happens.

I respect your opinion but really still wouldnt mine seeing this fight. If Pac is willing, go for it. I've heard them all, he's to big, he's too strong and honestly it all matters come fight night.

Pac vs. DLH. Delahoya is too big for Pac. DLH got served
Shane vs. Margarito. Margarito can take a punch. Not anymore
Hopkins vs. Pavlik Hopkins age will be a factor. Hopkins turns back time

These three fights right here tell you that with a right game plan, anything is possible.

If it happens atleast Pac has the balls to make it happen. Hatton aint going no where near 147 THATS FOR DAMN SURE.

Im a Pac fan so your calling me delusional? Dont hate a fighter for doing things NOT EVERY FIGHTER CAN SAY THEY DID.

**** it. Pac Man vs. B-Hop. "The Retirement Match." It's all about money anyways.

It seems highly likely Cotto would destroy Pacquiao. But like trainhard_187 is basically saying, anything can happen in boxing.

                  wow...

if pac gets past hatton, the fans will cry out for ugly boy floyd. he is the only fighter left pac deserve to fight before calling it a career. cotto may be good but mayweather is better. anyway, since both pac and cotto have the same promoter, it will make the work easy for bob.

ugly boy floyd will come out from hibernation if pacman beat cotto.

pacman-ugly boy floyd... that would be the real treat for 2009!
