That's the fight that makes sense but watch Miguel not fight Mosley because Arum is pulling the strings and wants to keep his prize fighter under the Top Rank Umbrella & milk him like a fat @$$ cow. Margarito already got his face bashed in by Mosley & the Cotto fight was close, Arum doesn't want two of his meal tickets to be exposed by 1 fighter.

I have nothing against Miguel Cotto on a personal level but to me I am just not sold on him being that great of a fighter. He's tough, has heart but just too touchable & can't adjust under pressure well. If he can't hurt you with his power then you can beat him easy because he is always there to get hit (Torres, Corley, Judah, Mosley, Margarito). Mosley fought the wrong fight last time &
I am confident that he will beat Miguel Cotto in the rematch. With all of Cotto skills he supposed to have or what his fans keep hollering about, he couldn't beat Margarito? Paul Williams & Shane Mosley did. If Cotto was the best Welter he should of too.

Anyway, whether or not Cotto was the victim of bricks in the gloves, let's not forget that he didn't get owned by Margarito or anything. In fact, Cotto boxed Tony's face off quite convincingly until his nose closed shut from the unusual break and he couldn't sustain the tempo any longer.

Miguel put on a masterclass performance for those first 6 rounds, and had his breathing not been impeded, would have coasted to an easy decision.

He could beat Mayweather. Mayweather is not >>>>>>>>>>> than Cotto. He's accomplished more, but styles make fights, and Miguel has a great mix of things that have given May troubles in the past.

Well it remains to be seen. Cotto is an exciting fighter/ boxer, however he lacks the personality. Trinidad will always be loved differently because of his personality. I'm not saying Cotto won't accomplish what Trinidad accomplished or will accomplish more than Trinidad accomplished- because Cotto still has a long road ahead, however he won't be as loved. I think there was a recent poll conducted and they asked Puerto Rican fans who would they rather watch- Cotto fight some good fighter or Trinidad fight some bum. And most fans picked Trinidad against some bum. Don't know if that can be accurate in the US though. Just my opinon I may be wrong.

I agree with you that Tito was loved and will be loved because he was so proud and Tito is like Tyzon no matter what, we will watch all their fights but what Im saying about Cotto is that in the Boxing world he haves all the skills and talks english and makes better decisions when it comes to boxing but with the fans Tito will always be our undisputed Champ
