It is called inactivity my man. he hasn't fought in a few months already waiting another 8 months or so would be close to a year lay off. To a boxer that mind as well be like he is fighting his first fight all over again....Lefty
That is a good point and I thought about it but how many fights has Haye had broadcast in the US? A Haye_Holyfield fight would be on PPV (not a big time PPV mind you) and after the Holyfield-Valuev fight I heard him brought up on Sportscenter many times (Valuev that is).

It would get him out there, but no one would like him for roughing up an old great, but being known for roughing up an old great is better then not being known at all.

Who ever he fights he will get hated for it so it doesn't matter. he should try and get Valuev's belt or win a couple fights and become mand challenger as he is ranked highly by the WBC and WBO.

That is true, but atleast people are not indifferent on him. Boxing needs villians (or hated characters), because it would be really boring if everyone is a nice humble guy.

He should just make his own way though if they can not manage to get this fight back on track. Sometimes you have to make your own breaks, because you can not rely on others to give them to you (atleast with good contract terms).

Yeah i agree he is highly ranked so all he has to do is win a couple of fights and he will get his chance against the klits next year, or he could go after Valuev.
