I think Vernon would beat him only if he is fully prepared, if his age has gotten to him in the slightest bit, then Martinez would win.

Martinez is faster than Forrest and would most likely cause too many problems for Forrest to figure out. I'd say he'd probably pick up a close UD if they were to fight.

If Martinez circles the wrong way against Forrest (as he did against Cintron) he could end up in a lot of trouble. I do not think Forrest will let him get away with a crucial mistake like that.

Forrest right hand has not been the same the last few years though, if he can get the straight right hand working (very key against a lefty) for him he has a real shot, but if he can not Martinez will most likely work him over.

It is an intersting fight, that I could see either man winning

At first I thought Martinez would kill him, but now I see him beating him something similar on how Mora did the first fight.

Martinez speed is just great and straight left is deadly i hope he get some big payday.
If Vernon wont step up and fight Martinez i think Martinez will fight Mayorga and KO him in few rounds thats my opinion i dont think he ll go to Germany and got robbed against Sergei Dzi....!
