If Vernon Forrest had trouble with Sergio Mora, how could he deal with Martinez?

That is a good question, but Martinez fight a little differently, and if Martinez does like he did against Cintron and circle the wrong way against an orthodox fighter, I think that Forrest could possibly do well.

Forrest dominated him in the rematch, but Mora still made him look pretty damn old. I think Forrest's Jab, Right hand, and uppercut gives Martinez a run for his money for the first 4 rounds or so, until Martinez takes over.

In the first fight when Mora had no problems making weight he was dominant. In the second fight when he had to take off 2 pounds at the scales he was dead. I just think southpaws, especially ones with as much confidence as speed as Martinez has, will almost always beat Forrest.

Forrest is never going to fight Martinez because he is a southpaw. Vernon doesnt fight southpaws, bottomline. And I wish he would because Martinez isnt nothing that special. Martinez would probably barely prevail if the two tangled at this point (which they will not). A prime Forrest beats the **** out of Martinez, but even then Vernon wouldnt have fought him because of his lefty stance.

I agree with this but but I think Forrest wins a 115-113. I thought Sergio could beat Forrest after the Bunema fight but after seeing him fight Cintron I'm not 100% sure anymore

Aslong as he circles the right way, and does not mitigate the advantage of being a southpaw. Martinez is more hungry I believe also, and that is never a good sign.
