Khan is nowhere near ready for JMM or JD. Either the WBO will protect him and let him fight bums as mandatories for a couple of years, or he would be being pushed far too fast and it would destroy his confidence, possibly irresparably. Either way, for Warren to lobby for it is beyond cynical, it's truly sick.

Barrera is going to beat Khan, so don't worry about it. Barrera has already said he wants to fight JMM again.Khan is nowhere near ready for JMM or JD. Khan isn't anywhere near ready for genuine world title calibre fights yet. I believe he's probably ready for Barrera, who is fighting well above his best weight, and is way past his peak; but there's no way he's nearly ready for JMM, Diaz, Funeka, or even Prescott, yet. The only way winning the title won't destroy him is if the WBO protect him by giving him nobodies as mandatories, and that would damage his popularity and marketability, as well as making the WBO an even greater laughing stock than they were before.Comment

I'd be more worried if I thought you were right, but I don't.
Why would JMM want to fight Barrera again, at Lightweight?Comment
