Kirkland is just another Lacy/Miranda type fighter. He's another overhyped black KO artist that will get exposed when he steps up the competiton.

WTF is the point of stating he's black? Why not just say he's an overrated fighter and leave it at that?

Anyways, we will learn a lot about Kirkland is his fight next month against Joel Julio, who is the biggest test and best fighter either has faced. It's too bad Mayorga pulled out, I was very curious to see how Angulo would do against a vet

J.Kirkland got some pop in his punches but needs to change trainer, that woman never taught him how to avoid punches, and he's been down and wobbling but managed to get back into the fight cause he fought a bum that time. when stepping up, he wont have those chances

I don't know who's better between these two, but the attention they get confuses me. Why are Angulo's fights in HBO when he's not been fighting anyone? He's clearly not an exceptional talent, though I enjoy his style. I think he's a poor man's Tomasz Adamek.

Wrong there buddy. It will be Kirklands biggest test, but Not Julios. Julio has fought Quintana and Drikzurik who are way better than Kirkland.

hats why Ive been saying Julio will KKTFO. Julio ahve decent skills with ridiculous power, while Kirkland block punches with his face and have a horrible defense!!!!!!!!

Richard Gutierrez had Angulo seriously hurt in the final round of their fight before being stopped himself. If Gutierrez wasn't a third tier type fighter he would have had him outta there.

Obviously Angulo can take a shot, but I don't think he's rolling with a granite chin.

Right now I'd say Angulo but if Kirkland beats Julio, that's better than anyone Angulo has beaten and would give the edge to Kirkland.
