I guess I thought the commentators talking about it at length and replaying it multiple times would have gotten the news to spread to the rest of the media at ringside.

If you didn't know that's fine but I am curious. If you had seen the replay would you have been willing to tell Shields he was 100% wrong about it?

When you're at ringside trying to meet deadlines, it's almost impossible to have fun. I was probably three fights behind at that point, then when everything was happening I ran up to the ring apron trying to find out what the hell was going on. I wanted to get the weird from Cintron but he wasn't in the mood to be recorded by that point.

Shields is going to defend his fighter but I thought Martinez deserved the decision.

Shields is just doing damage control.

He knows Cintron lost, but he can't openly admit that to Kermit, the public, or anybody else.

Of course, but if I didn't have the luxury of a replay I wouldn't put myself out there. My seat was not angled to have the best vantage point.

It wasn't even close. I was rooting for Cintron and imo there was not a single round that he won clearly. Any round given to Cintron could have very easily gone to Martinez.

On the other side, Martinez won at least 6 rounds, and 10 out of 12 on my card.

If I had invited friends to watch with me I would have been embarrassed to have shown them such a travesty.
