Let's look at it another way.
Edwin Valero has a 100% KO ratio. He has had 24 fights and his resume largely consists of a low-to-average standard of opposition.
Or take a look at Breidis Prescott's record. Breidis has a 90% KO ratio. Again, he has a resume which consists mainly of a low or average standard of opposition.
Both these fighter's currently have a great KO ratio, BUT it's not likely to stay that way as they face competition that is much more fierce.
Ricky Hatton hasn't faced many elite fighters. His only option from here is to face the best, and the best generally have great chins, they don't get KO'd easily, and that's why they're right at the top of the food chain. Ricky's KO ratio will most likely drop from this point onwards in his career.
Once again, 2% is a difference which is not worth the time and effort both of us are putting into this argument.
