Guzman is so fluid with his **** that I think it could be, and could have been disastourous for Nate. Nates only chance would be his big overhand right which I dont think Guzman would be open for with his sound defense.

nah... you confuse nate's drying out to make 135 and the incredible reach and height advantage, strong punch and boxing skills of funeka for weakness in nate against someone with boxing ability.

guzman lacks funeka's height/reach/power and a fresh nate wouldnt gas in the middle rounds against guzman.

if they fought that night, guzman would be hurting from making weight. add to that nate's body attack and guzman would lose.

guzman knew that he was gonna lose thats why he pulled out. guzman pulling out was a sign of his great respect for nate. unfortunately you fail to realize that.

guzman pulling out was not a blessing in disguise... it forced nate into bankruptcy and and the long layoff may have been what caused nate to be unable to make 135 this time around.

The Guzman fight led to Nate's bankruptcy, which led to him getting out of a King contract, which in turn led to his layoff. Somehow along the way I dont think Nate is too bitter about his layoff or his bankruptcy if it got him out of a contract with King. You can trust me on that.

nah... im pretty sure campbell would've rather gotten paid than got out of the contract.

He should have no problem getting that back. He should get even more now that he dont have King's many hands creeping in from every angle. I think he made about 100 grand less for last nights fight then was his purse for the Guzman fight. After Don would have dipped into that Nate's purse probably would have been smaller then what he took home last night.

                nah

                1) nate is 36
                2) not sure how many wars nate can get in and come out with a win
                3) the guys at 140 hit harder and are tougher than the 135 lbers
                4) nate has at best 2-3 more really good fights... then its down hill from there

if nate was a 22, I might be inclined to think like you, but dude needs cash... he's got 6 kids to feed and 1 grankid

I feel you. I really do. but Nate is a hustler. Just like he knew he wouldnt have to make weight, yet he would still fight and get paid, because no way Funeka says no to an overweight Campbell with everything on the line not to mention he can request a portion of Campbell's purse if need be. Bottomline is Nate made a hustlers move last night, just like he made a hustlers move when he lost 400,000 and then quickly and foremost bounced from King. It takes money to make money. Nate knows this. He might be taken the B-Hop route. Lets see where and what it gets him.

I agree. I could see campbell winning a few of the early rounds and Guzman taking the rest. Maybe giving nate a round or two in the final stretch.

                      I see it 8-4 or 7-5
