Joan Guzman would have boxed the shoes off him. Obviously, Nate has trouble with boxers that use there legs and Guzman is one of the best at it. So it was probably a blessing in disguise when Guzman failed to make weight when the two were scheduled to meet. What do you guys think?

Not really because Nate really needed the money from the Guzman fight to dodge bankruptcy... so I wouldn't say it was a blessing. As for Guzman beating him I am not sure, in all honesty I haven't seen much of him so I can't really say anything... however my friend told me he thought Guzman was going to win anyway so your probably right in that sense.

Im sure any and everybody can use 300,000 or 400,000 dollars or whatever Nates purse was suppose to be for that fight. He probably feels filing bankruptcy and therefore breaking off from Don King was a blessing in diguise. We all know just because someone files bankruptcy dont automatically mean that they're broke. I think Nate probably filed bankruptcy moreorless to relieve himself out of his contract with King if anything. In any event, as much as I love Nate, Guzman is a pure boxer in every sense. I cant see Nate outfighting Guzmans slickness.

Everyone seems to underestimate Nate's power. I don't think that Nate would have lost, at all. Guzman would have gotten all ****** and ****y as always, same mistake Nate once made. There's no way Guzman would win as easy as anyone thought and if Guzman had the fight, Nate would make sure he'll "fight kill or die" for it.

I think the weigh in should be the day of the fight that way welterweights won't be able to pretend they are lightweights. As to whom will get his shoes boxed off could be done just as easily at the proper weight.

And thats why I love Nate, hes a warrior without a doubt. And he goes in there to lay hands on you with bad intentions. He just has problems with boxers who are fleet footed.
