Well I actually think that fight actually ranks up there with actual beatings but may not be the best actually.

I think the Cal-Lacy fight was a bigger beatdown because Lacy was the favourite for that fight. No one seriously expected a C+ Fighter (PBF's words) to win, now did they?

Couldn't stop him? Stoppages are down to the ref or the corner throwing in the towel. Don't tell me you don't think the Lacy fight AND in fact the Jones fight shouldn't have been stopped.

No it doesn't. Gatti took a lot of beatings so it was expected that Floyd should win comfortably. Calzaghe-Lacy was worse because it went on for far longer and Calzaghe was the underdog. When the favourite gets beaten that badly, for that long, it is quite shocking.
