Hype or Real Deal? (Yuriorkis Gamboa)

Gamboa's got talent. Not sure if he's hype or not. Too early to tell. With his attitude, he could easily turn out to be like Zab Judah. Not nearly what he couldabeen.

Right now, I'd take Juanma Lopez by KO over YG. Is that hype?

His talent is undeniable, but he may have an Achilles chin.

He definitely has the tools to be a great boxer. He is an Olympic gold medalist and has great power and athleticism. His chin is better than he gets credit for I think. He is going to be a titlist, although I admit there does seem to be something off about him.

Gamboa isnt all hype, but his defensive problems might keep him from becoming anything special.

In a wack Eastern Conference and the first 2 teams they faced weren't all that good.

I think he is the real deal, but he is flawed because of his talent. His over confidence makes him easy to hit, however I think over time his defense will improve.

i voted hype... i could be wrong, but based off of what i've seen, he's too eager to KO someone and swings pretty damn wild... one fight i saw him in, the ref counted to ten from seven very fast, not giving the guy a chance to get up... he wasn't even hurt.. and he dropped Gamboa earlier... and he seemed nearly equal on hand speed...
